I don't know bout the rest of you, but I think the over priced training for the epic flyer needs to be dropped by a few thousand gold. 5000g is a bit excessive, I'd say 3000 would be a bit more fair and yet still to damn expensive! Is this on the horizon in the future? Cause I can think of about 20 things I could do with the extra 2000g!
I also asked one of my friends, and he told me:
I have no use for a mount that doesn't unlock anything (Part from netherwing dailies, yay(!)) or do anything better for my character, but take me from A to B faster.
I spent 900g on a Blade of Wizardry, and it's done ALOT for my mage, whereas 5k to still not have any advantage in PvP or PvE?
WotLK will take away flying benefits till 78-80, and the same thing economy-wise will happen as did the WoW-WoWBC change. During that change, the value of 100 gold turned into 1000g. Going by those numbers, you only need 500g post WotLK to unlock the epic flyer.
It's your call really, I'm doing what I think is smart. Besides, I'm not in a rush to do anything.
So what is going on?
